Whistleblower Appeal (WBA)
On December 9, 2021, the Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA) issued an order denying Mr. Richard J. Starr's appeal of the OHA's initial agency decision under the Department of Energy's (DOE) Contractor Employee Protection Program, 10 C.F.R. Part 708. On appeal, Mr. Starr stated that he "did not agree with the reasoning documented" in the Administrative Judge's initial agency decision. The OHA Director determined that the Administrative Judge did not err. Accordingly, OHA denied the appeal. OHA Case No. WBA-21-0002
