Overview
The Department of Energy's Electricity Advisory Committee held a meeting on Wednesday, March 29, and Thursday, March 30 at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, 4301 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA. Members of the public were invited on a first come, first served basis (depending on the availability of meeting room space) to listen to the Committee proceedings and to make comments. The two-day meeting included an update on OE’s programs and initiatives, presentations from the new Administration, FERC, and panel discussions on the Internet of Things and the transmission-distribution interface in the context of increasing distributed resource additions.
