The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to the Florida Solar Energy Center at the University of Central Florida (FSEC) to design, develop, fabricate, and test a small-capacity extreme weather resilient portable cooler (PC) for usage in sustained power outages. The project would be completed over two Budget Periods (BPs) and ten Tasks.
