The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to GTI Energy (GTI) for design, development, fabrication, and testing of a high-efficiency oil-free compressor expander for CO2 heat pumps. Award activities would occur over 3 budget periods (BP). BP1 would include preliminary design, simulation, and component validation.
