The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) as part of the Assisting Federal Facilities with Energy Conservation Technologies (AFFECT) grant program. The funding provided would assist in energy efficiency upgrades at Archive I in Washington, DC and Archive II in College Park, MD.
