The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) as part of the Assisting Federal Facilities with Energy Conservation Technologies (AFFECT) grant program. The funding provided would assist in replacing high intensity discharge lighting fixtures and associated electrical components at the SLAC campus in Menlo Park, California.
