The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to the Warner School District I 74 for energy conservation measures at Warner High School, Warner Middle School, Warner Elementary School, and the Events Center in Warner, Oklahoma which are within the boundaries of the Cherokee Nation. The school buildings are used as community shelters during weather events and power outages in addition to being educational facilities.
