Based on analyses in the final EA, DOE determined that its Proposed Action – awarding a grant to Group14 to partially fund the new facility – would result in no significant adverse impacts. DOE further determined that there would be beneficial impacts to socioeconomics, environmental justice, and greenhouse gas emissions reduction from implementation of Group14’s Proposed Project.
