CX-031182: Establishment of a Vertically Integrated Domestic Manufacturing Process for Production of Substrates Needed for Manufacture of Gas Diffusion Layers”

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to AvCarb Materials Solutions for the design and development of a production line that would produce carbon veil coatings used in fuel cells. A community benefits plan would also be developed.  The proposed award activities would occur over two budget periods (BPs), with a Go/No Go decision point between the BPs.
