The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to the Pennsylvania State University (Penn State) for the design, development, and fabrication of electrochemical cell components for decarbonized electrolytic reduction of iron oxides. All award activities would occur at Penn State in University Park, Pennsylvania.  All project activities would be completed in existing, purpose-built laboratory facilities.
