The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to the University of North Dakota Energy and Environmental Research Center (UNDEERC) to develop materials to support and perform advanced oxygen-ion-conducting solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) testing for hydrogen production. The proposed award would occur over two budget periods (BPs), with one Go/No Go decision point between the BPs.
