CX-030756: [DE-EE0011151] Fluidized Bed Catalytic Reactor/Receiver for Converting Solar Energy to Fuels and Chemicals

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Colorado School of Mines (Mines) to demonstrate and design catalyst particles and a solar fluidized bed to convert solar energy into fuels and chemicals via methane reformation and high-temperature steam. Award activities would include research, development, engineering, and laboratory testing.
