The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermi) for the installation of a photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage system at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, Illinois. These award activities would assist the Fermilab campus toward mitigating climate change impacts of site operations and improve the operating reliability of campus infrastructure to support the consistent operation of accelerator facilities.
