The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to administer Congressionally Directed Spending to the Town of Gorham, New Hampshire, to install a roof-top solar photovoltaic (PV) array at the Gorham Public Works Garage. The proposed installation would be sized at approximately 70.4 kilowatts (kW) DC of generation capacity, which is estimated to offset 100 percent of the electrical load of the building and produce additional electricity to be net metered to the Fire Station and Town Hall.
