February 23, 2024At the P Area Burning Rubble Pit (131-P) Operable Unit (PBRP OU), four shallow groundwater monitoring wells will be installed along the bank of Steel Creek south of the P Area Burning Rubble Pit (131-P) and one soil boring will be advanced to ascertain current volatile organic compound (VOC) concentrations in the groundwater. Data from this characterization program will be used to determine if a discernable VOC plume has developed and if concentrations have migrated further than expected.
