February 7, 2024The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to GE Research (GE) to design, manufacture, and test a composite liquid hydrogen (LH2) tank with a capacity of 20 kg. The tank would be scalable to larger sizes of 60-120 kg for heavy truck applications and 200-1000 kg for aircraft applications.
