Surplus Plutonium Disposition Program
The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), a semi-autonomous agency within the United States (U.S.) Department of Energy (DOE), issued this notice of availability of the Final Environmental Impact Statement for the Surplus Plutonium Disposition Program (SPDP) which evaluated the potential environmental impacts of the disposition of plutonium that is surplus to the defense needs of the United States.
