This Finding of No Significant Impact is based on the environmental impacts identified in the final environmental assessment (DOE/EA-2209) that evaluated the design, construction, and operation of the liquid-fueled, fast-spectrum, chloride salt-fueled Molten Chloride Reactor Experiment (MCRE) and installation in the National Reactor Innovation Center Laboratory for Operation and Testing in the United States (LOTUS) testbed at Idaho National Laboratory (INL).
