The Emerging Technologies Collaborative for Buildings (ETCB) is building its base of participants and collaborators to involve a diverse range of stakeholders in its activities. Key stakeholder groups of interest include:
- Manufacturers develop and supply energy technologies and provide critical feedback to the RD&D and investment community.
- Regional energy efficiency organizations (REEOs) focus on sustainable and efficient energy solutions to address regional challenges and needs.
- Researchers drive innovation and advance energy technologies.
- State agencies and energy offices contribute regional expertise, best practices, and lessons learned to strengthen collaboration on energy-related projects.
- Trade associations advocate for focused industry stakeholder needs to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
- Utilities leverage industry knowledge, experience, and broad customer base to bring invaluable insights and perspective to the table.
- Private sector funding emphasizes the importance of private investment in driving innovation and commercialization of energy technologies across the “Valley of Death.”
Through engagement with these diverse stakeholders, ETCB will leverage their collective expertise and resources to advance energy technology RD&D in the buildings sector.
