The event occurred at the Nonproliferation Test and Evaluation Complex (NPTEC) at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS), which operates under the oversight of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration Nevada Field Office (NNSA/NFO).
