The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to administer Congressionally Directed Spending to Toledo Community Foundation, Inc. in support of the Greater Toledo Community Foundation’s (GTCF) Sustainable Communities Educational Initiative, which would leverage a recently constructed 3-megawatt solar photovoltaic (PV) facility to launch a diverse collection of educational and outreach activities as well as expand the impact of the PV arrays through the installation of a battery system.
