The U.S. Department of Energy is proposing to provide funding to the Wisconsin Office of Energy Innovation to install approximately 400 kW of ground mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) panels adjacent to the Wastewater Treatment Facility in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Installation would include removal of several landscaped trees from the existing turfgrass lawn, installation of foundation and racking systems, connection to existing electrical components on site, and installation of PV panels.
