The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to Stanford University to fabricate and analyze electrolyte thin-films via rapid spray-plasma processing and to develop a fully scalable, solid-state lithium battery using a spray-plasma platform. The project would be completed over two Budget Periods (BPs) with a Go/No-Go decision point between each BP. This NEPA determination is applicable to both BPs.
