Keswick, Shasta, and Whiskeytown Fault Trenching Study – Group 1; Shasta County, California

The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) proposed to study the seismic history of faults in the Keswick, Whiskeytown, and Shasta areas (Shasta and Tehama Counties, California) by digging trenches along fault lines. BOR prepared an environmental assessment for the Group 1 study areas, which are located in Shasta County. One trench would be located near Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) Keswick Substation facilities on land administered by WAPA, which was a cooperating agency in preparing the EA.
