The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to the University of Central Florida (UCF) for computational and experimental efforts to improve supercritical carbon dioxide (sCO2) compressor operations under various inlet conditions. Testing activities would be performed in the sCO2 Flow and Heat Transfer Laboratory at UCF. Computation and design work would occur at CRAFT Tech’s facility in Pennsylvania.
