The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Business-Cooperative Service (RBCS) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) are requesting public input on the draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for LanzaTech Freedom Pines Fuels, LLC.
RBCS and DOE, as required by the National Environmental Policy Act, are issuing an environmental assessment (EA) in connection with possible impacts related to a project proposed by Lanza Tech Freedom Pines Fuels, LLC (LanzaTech), in Soperton, Georgia. The proposal is for construction of a biofuel production facility. LanzaTech has submitted an application to RBCS for funding of the proposal.
