OE plans to use $3.2 billion of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act) funds in a matching grant program that will cover up to fifty percent of investments planned by electric utilities and other entities for the deployment of Smart Grid technology, in accordance with Section 1306 of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA).
