The Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) prepared a supplement analysis (SA) to evaluate whether changes to the design of the water pool system for the Naval Spent Fuel Handling Facility require further evaluation under NEPA. Based on the SA, NNPP determined that the updated water pool system design is not a substantial change to the proposal analyzed in DOE/EIS-0453 and, therefore, no further NEPA documentation is required.
