The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to Princeton University to design, model, and develop a membrane in the form of a screen that could be mounted on a building façade in humid climates in order to reduce the relative humidity indoors. As air passes through the screen, water would be separated from the air, allowing fresh air to pass through.
