The Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) proposes to lease housing in Deadwood, South Dakota. The housing would be used to lodge scientists and technical staff visiting and/or conducting LBNL-related research at the nearby Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF). The lease would include the right for LBNL to terminate the lease at any point provided 90 days of notice are provided to the landlord.
