Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Rocky Mountain Region (RMR), proposes to conduct geotechnical investigations near its Kimball Substation (KB) located in Kimball County, Nebraska. The proposed work would occur on private and WAPA owned lands south and east of the KB. This project is intended to support the future expansion of the KB for the construction of a 4 breaker 115-kV ring bus.
