July 9, 2019The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) has operated beyond its expected lifetime and has become inadequate to provide necessary response for possible emergency event scenarios. The functions performed in the Savannah River Site Operations Center (SRSOC) and the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) must be relocated to another area to meet the continuing mission requirements. There are two emergency management operations; the Savannah River Site Operations Center (SRSOC) and the Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The SRSOC and EOC are communications facilities where all site emergencies are managed, and the facilities are critical to support EM missions as well as enduring NNSA missions at SRS
