The Department of Energy is proposing to provide funding to the National Association for State Community Services Programs to provide training and technical assistance. The proposed efforts would include: organizing two national conferences that host federal perspective sessions and Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) workshops and training; researching and reporting on annual funding received by WAP Grantees; collecting and disseminating the best and most useful WAP information and practices; developing Grantee communication tools; coordinating and delivering training webinars; and providing targeted training and technical assistance to Grantee WAP managers and staff.
