At the Scrap Lumber Pile 631-2G a DPT rig will collect soil samples to a depth of 10-ft at 19 locations. At the Ford Building (690-N) 27 hand auger locations will go to a depth of 4-ft to collect soil samples, and at an additional 5 locations soil samples will be collected at depth as well as a groundwater sample at 50-60 ft. At the ECODS N-1 a DPT rig will collect soil samples to a depth of 20-ft at 11 locations, and at an additional 3 locations soil and groundwater samples will be collected to a depth of 55-ft. Additional sample locations may become necessary as the characterization progresses.
