Summary
DOE proposed to modify one of the fixed target beamlines at Fermilab to accommodate an experimental research program involving the study of a particular subatomic particle, the neutral K meson produced with the main Fermilab accelterator, the Tevatron. The proposed action was to construct and bring into operation a new experiment called KTeV (Kaons at the Texatron).
