October 22, 2018This revision to environmental checklist INL-18-067 includes installation of an electrical duct bank to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration weather tower on the southwest corner of Advanced Test Reactor Complex, in addition to those included in the original project scope. The proposed duct bank runs from the northwest corner of the Advanced Test Reactor Complex parking lot, along the security perimeter road and terminates at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration tower (see Figure 1). A more reliable electrical feed is needed to keep the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration tower in service. A trench approximately 2 feet x 2 feet x 3 feet will be dug to the south and west (approximately 3 feet from the road edge) of the Advanced Test Reactor security perimeter road to accommodate the new electrical duct bank. New handholes, surge protective devices, and conductors will also be installed within the route of the duct bank. If approved, this work will be added to the current Advanced Test Reactor Parking Lot Improvements project/contract.
