Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for the Long-Term Management and Storage of Elemental Mercury
DOE announces it intent to prepare a supplement to the January 2011 Environmental Impact Statement for the Long-Term Management and Storage of Elemental Mercury (EIS-0423) to evaluate the potential environmental impacts of identifying a facility or facilities at and in the vicinity of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant near Carlsbad, New Mexico.
