The purpose of this activity is to install a 1-inch exhaust on the Orion XT smoke detector located in the first basement of Test Reactor Area-670 next to the fire door between switch gear and primary pump corridors. The current configuration draws air from the motor corridor and exhausts the air in the switch gear room which causes smoke detector issues.
