Freeport Liquefied Natural Gas Development (LNG) , L.P., a Delaware limited partnership with its primary place of business in Houston, Texas, filed an application with the Office of Fossil Energy on April 21, 2011, seeking authorization to export previously imported liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Freeport LNG's terminal on Quintana Island near Freeport, Texas, to any country that has the capacity to import LNG via ocean-going carrier, and with which trade is not prohibited by United States law or policy.
