Summary
DOE’s Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) as cooperating agencies, prepared DOE/EA-1685 to analyze the potential environmental impacts of rebuilding and upgrading the existing Parker-Planet Tap 69‑kilovott (kV) Transmission Line. The proposal included new right-of-way authorizations for portions of the transmission line and access roads that cross BLM and USFWS lands.
