In response to public comments and requests, the U.S. Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration Nevada Site Office is extending the public comment period for the Draft Site-wide Environmental Impact Statement for the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) and Off-Site Locations in Nevada (DOE/EIS-0426). The formal comment period will close on December 2, 2011 rather than October 27, 2011.
