Sapphire Energy, Inc.’s Integrated Algal Biorefinery Facility; Columbus, New Mexico

This US Department of Agriculture (USDA) EA analyzes the potential environmental impacts for the final design, construction, and startup of Sapphire Energy, Inc.’s Integrated Algal Biorefinery Project.  Sapphire Energy, Inc. applied to USDA for a federal loan guarantee, and DOE proposed to provide up to up to $43 million in federal funding.
