Drilling, Testing, and Monitoring of up to 12 Temperature Gradient / Passive Seismic Geothermal Exploratory Wells; Deschutes County, Oregon

The Bureau of Land Management prepared an EA that analyzed the potential environmental impacts of a proposal to drill, test, and monitor up to 12 temperature gradient/passive seismic geothermal exploratory wells within the Deschutes National Forest in Deschutes County, Oregon. DOE, a cooperating agency, adopted the EA as DOE/EA-1758 and issued a FONSI based on the EA and a supplemental cumulative impacts analysis, which is incorporated into DOE’s FONSI.
