"The Minority Serving Institution Partnership Program (MSIPP) provided me with the opportunity to conduct research at a national laboratory using state-of-the-art computing infrastructure in the field of quantum computing. After completing a Master’s of Science in Physics and working in industry as a scientist, I began my studies at Florida A&M University’s (FAMU) physics department where I utilized their collaborative research pathway with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL).
Through LLNL, I conducted off-campus research and completed my dissertation. This unique opportunity was not available to me through my home academic institution. (name of school). As a result of the MSIPP support and experiences at FAMU, I have built an invaluable knowledge-base that has sharpened my versatility and abilities."
