" MSIPP introduced me to the field of High Energy Density Science and facilitated connections with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) research staff. Mentors at LLNL supported me throughout my Ph.D. and continue to positively impact my professional development. Before my involvement in MSIPP, I had never considered a career at a national laboratory, yet I could not imagine a better place to work.
LLNL provided the resources I needed to complete my dissertation. The highlight of working at a NNSA national laboratory is the opportunity to work on experiments at the forefront of physics with the best resources available. The mentorship I received through this experience enabled me to secure a position as an experimental physicist at LLNL. "
