NNSA announces exercise of terms for Nevada National Security Site management and operating contract
The Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration announced today it has exercised Option Terms 1 through 5 of Mission Support and Test Services, LLC’s management and operating contract for the Nevada National Security Site.
NNSA Administrator Hruby wrapped up her visit to East Asia Saturday with a trip to South Korea. She discussed national defense, nuclear nonproliferation, and nuclear security with her counterparts and visited key scientific organizations.

Fulfilling a commitment made at the 2016 Nuclear Security Summit, NNSA and Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) announced the removal of all highly enriched uranium from the Kyoto University Critical Assembly.
