How do you support NNSA?
I keep track of incoming and outgoing mail, supplies, copy paper, conference room reservations, and have other administrative duties.
What is your personal background, and how has that shaped you and your approach to your career?
I worked in the hotel industry for some 25 years, and this has given me a knowledge of people and their needs.
What is the best part about your job?
Creating new ways to make my job more efficient while working with others.
What is your proudest accomplishment while working at NNSA?
Seeing the team working together to accomplish outstanding goals.
Tell us something interesting about yourself
I enjoy writing, helping others, eating crabs, and family.
What advice would you have for anyone interested in a career in nuclear security?
If you have a desire to become a part of our NNSA team, stay open to new ideas and be a person of flexibility.
Why do you think diversity and inclusion is important to your profession?
In our business you will encounter people from every walk of life, and you must be a people person. For we are all here for one common goal: supporting nuclear security.
