Jeffrey Walker, Senior Advisor, Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains (MESC), U.S. Department of Energy, Washington, DC.
Jef is a Senior Advisor in the Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains (MESC) where he is responsible for providing oversight of the projects in the MESC portfolio to strengthen and secure manufacturing and energy supply chains needed to modernize the nation’s energy infrastructure. The Project Management Division role is to ensure consistent and effective oversight of the projects. Jef has more than 25 years DOE experience bringing a depth of experience in the development, demonstration and application of new technologies to resolve real world problems. Prior to joining MESC, Jef was a Senior Advisor for the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations, spent more than 10 years in the Loans Program Office as a senior member of the Project Management, Portfolio Management and Operations Divisions. Jef has received B.S. degree in Mining Engineering and a M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He has also achieved a Professional Engineering License and a Project Management Professional certification.
