Former Special Advisor, Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains

Derrick Buechele Bhole was the former Special Advisor for the U.S. Department of Energy in the Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains (MESC). Prior to joining MESC, Derrick was a Special Assistant in the Department of Energy's Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs. Prior to his appointment, he was a Legislative Correspondent in the Office of Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock where he covered tax, banking, budget, appropriations, manufacturing, and trade issues. Derrick previously served as a Finance Associate on the Warnock for Georgia campaign in 2020. He holds an B.S. in Economics and Psychology from the University of Georgia and a M.S. in Economics from Johns Hopkins University. Derrick grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia and is a proud son of Brazilian and Indian immigrants.
