Hernan Cortes leads LPO's Underwriting & Structuring Division (formerly called Origination). Previously, Mr. Cortes served as Director of the Portfolio Management Division which is tasked with assuring that the performance of approved projects is technically sound and project sponsors adhere to LPO financial terms and conditions necessary to maintain repayment schedules. Prior to joining LPO Mr. Cortes served as Director of Corporate Finance for Edison Mission Energy where he led corporate and project finance transactions for the global energy company.
